Wailea is one of the nation's first master-planned communities and is located within South Maui nestled between Makena in the South and Kihei in the north.
The entire community of Wailea is approximately 1,500 acres and is famous for luxury resorts like The Grand Wailea Resort Hotel & Spa, championship golf courses like the Wailea Gold Golf Course as well as the intriguing shops and gourmet restaurants found at the Shops at Wailea.
Wailea is also the destination for some of Maui's most entertaining events like the annual Wailea Film Festival and Wailea's Restaurant Week.
There are 8 residential communities within Wailea, all of which are gated and offer a truly graceful living experience with convenient access to all the attractions of Wailea. Wailea homes with golf course frontage can be found in Wailea Fairway Estates, Wailea Golf Estates, Wailea Golf Vistas and Wailea Highlands. Other gated Wailea subdivisions include Wailea Kai which is across located across the street from Keawakapu beach, Wailea Kialoa which is just above the Palms at Wailea and Wailea Pualani which is below Maui Meadows.
There are 13 condominium communities in Wailea, each one offering different lifestyle amenities. There are only 3 beachfront condos in Wailea: Wailea Ekahi which has access to Keawakapu beach, Wailea Elua Village which fronts Ulua Beach and Wailea Beach Villas which fronts Wailea Beach. Wailea Point is an oceanfront condo in Wailea located between the Four Seasons Resort and the Fairmont Kea Lani resort.
