Pukalani: A Desirable Place to Live in Maui County
Considered a Census-designated place in Maui County, Pukalani is a gorgeous community that had a population of just 7,574 as of the 2010 Census. But within that small community is a world of wonder!
This 4.3-square-mile community is named such because Pukalani in Hawaiian means "hole in the heavens". And because of the clouds that form above and below the community on Haleakalā, Pukalani is sunny most of the time.
The Pukalani Lifestyle
This community offers residents a wonderful lifestyle that is centered around convenience, comfort and family.
There are plenty of shopping and dining amenities nearby to enjoy your free time and of course, the gorgeous beaches of Hawaii are located close by as well.
What’s more, the Pukalani Country Club is located here, set in the gentle rolling hills of Maui’s Up-country.
The Country Club overlooks the Pacific Ocean and includes stunning views of the Valley Isle of Maui. It features 18 holes designed by renowned golf course architect Bob Baldock. He is famous for designing more than 70 public and private golf courses across the country.
The par 72 golf course spans more than 6,960 acres and includes some challenging obstacles, including an expansive ravine.
The Schools of Pukalani
School-age children living here will be served by some high-performing public schools, including Pukalani Elementary School and King Kekaulike High School.
These schools are renowned for adequately preparing students for the real world and for higher education.
