In 2009 there were 16 home sales in Wailea with an average sales price of $2,072,500. This was a noticeable drop from 2008 which had 22 Wailea home sales with an average sales price of $2,856,295.

In the first 6 months of 2010 there have already been 11 home sales in Wailea with an average sales price of $1,585,863. The number of home sales in Wailea for 2010 is certainly up (there were only 8 sales in the first 6 months of 2010) but the average sales price is very low compared to historic Wailea home prices.
